Visit the famous city of Bath
A visit to the Georgian city of Bath, combined with a circular tour of this part
of the southern Cotswolds makes a lovely day out. Bath has many fine buildings
amongst which are the Roman Baths, the magnificent Abbey, and the impressive
neo-classical architecture of the Royal Crescent, the Circus and Pulteney
Bridge. Lovely parklands and riverside walks also add to the appeal of this
historic city.
This tour can also be combined with a visit to the National Arboretum at
Westonbirt containing 18,000 trees from all over the world within six hundred
acres of landscaped Cotswold countryside. Another option is to include a visit
to the spectacular baroque mansion and deer enclosure of nearby Dyrham Park.
